Economic Policy Master's Program
With the Economic Policy Master's Program, it is planned to offer an interdisciplinary approach consisting of theoretical and applied courses covering all areas of economics. With the Economic Policy Master's Program, it is aimed to implement an education program aimed at training expert economists who can produce solutions to the problems of the national economy and industry and meet the needs of the global business world by conducting academic research that enables the production of knowledge and technology at the international level. The main objective of the Master's Program in Economic Policy with Thesis is to train economists who closely follow the economic, social, cultural and environmental developments in the environment and the world, have a strong social aspect, have a strong knowledge of economics, can use technology and economic analysis tools, and have high synthesis skills related to economics and can work easily in every country. With the Economic Policy Master's Program, it is envisaged to train individuals who can meet the needs of the sector and address the needs of the academic environment in scientific studies on the subject.
Mission |
The main mission of the department is to prepare our students for post-university working life and to increase their research enthusiasm and capacity through the graduate program. In the graduate program, where a wide range of compulsory and elective courses are offered in accordance with the EU Bologna Process, it is aimed to equip our students with a strong knowledge of economics / Economic Policy and to provide them with the ability to perceive and analyze the economic situation in the country and the world. The main objective of the Master's Program in Economic Policy is to train economists who closely follow the economic, social, cultural and environmental developments in their environment and in the world, have a strong social aspect, have a strong knowledge of economics, can use technology and economic analysis tools, and have a high ability to synthesize economic science and can work easily in every country. With the Economic Policy Master's Program, it is aimed to educate individuals who can meet the needs of the sector and address the needs of the academic environment in scientific studies on the subject. |

Strategic Goals and Objectives
Our department has set the main goal of continuing its development based on the criteria in the established measurement and evaluation system. In this context, the Strategic Objectives of our department are determined as follows in the strategic plan being prepared for the Economic Policy Master's Program with Thesis.

2. PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
1: To train economic policy experts who are sensitive to developments in the Turkish and world economy, who can think universally, who are innovative, participatory, have broad horizons, and have sufficient self-confidence.
2: To train well-equipped specialists who have a good knowledge of economic theories, who have the mathematical knowledge to understand advanced statistical methods, who know how to use computers to apply this knowledge to data, and who can interpret the results they find.
3: To develop the ability of students to conduct research as independent researchers or as members of group studies, who know and understand economic policies and can analyze the results and the effects of policy changes.
4: Making our graduates qualified for employment in the public and private sectors and equipped with information age equipment
