The importance of social sciences is increasing all over the world. With this increasing importance, the number of people who are interested in social sciences and want to specialize in this field has also increased. Especially the Department of Economics is a field that is related to many fields and is influenced by other fields. Economic policies also affect the lives of all individuals. For this reason, many subjects such as the implementation of economic policies, their effects and results are in the interest of many people.

Economic Policy; In an economy, it is the decision making and implementation of these in order to achieve basic economic goals such as growth, development, stability, and fair income distribution. While realizing economic objectives, it is important to determine which economic instrument is the most suitable for the optimal realization of one or more economic objectives. Economic policy deals with the problems of how to intervene in the economic parameters, how to change them in the desired direction and what kind of limits will be encountered when the economic parameters are wanted to be changed.

Our Economic Policy Master's Program offers an interdisciplinary approach, consisting of theoretical and applied courses covering all areas of economics. Department of Economics; It aims to provide information that systematically examines the structure, functioning, development and problems of today's economies with a curriculum suitable for the micro and macro characteristics of an economy. To provide students with the necessary knowledge to be successful in economic management; By educating the nature of international economic relations, national economy-world economy relations, by educating graduates who can keep up with the information society as an economic and commercial and private and public sphere, and equipped with all the necessary information as a business and national economy, they train them in national and global scales in the relevant fields. aims at their employment. With the Economic Policy Graduate Program, it is aimed to increase the knowledge level of the graduates equipped with this information and to specialize especially in the field of Economic Policy.

With the Economic Policy Master's Program, a training program is carried out to train expert economists who can produce solutions to the problems of the national economy and industry and meet the needs of the global business world, by conducting academic research that provides information and technology production at an international level. Program; basically, it will include courses from Economic Policy departments. In addition, students can choose courses from other departments (Economic Theory, Economic History, International Economics). So in the program; In addition to basic economics courses, including the analysis of economic problems related to the country's economy within the scope of theoretical developments and different economic approaches; There are economics courses, theoretical and practical courses and econometric courses related to current fields in accordance with the developments in the field of economics.
